The Ranger Board is very interested in the club membership’s experiences with the club and their teams as the first half of the calendar year comes to a close.  You are encouraged to complete one survey for each child playing in the Rangers program.

Rangers Now Seeking Marathon Volunteers

WFC Rangers' signature fundraiser for 2008 is to co-host the Bellingham Bay Marathon.  We are working hard with the Bellingham Bay Swim Team to put on this exciting event.  The Marathon will be held Sunday, September 28 at 7:30am, starting and ending at the Bellingham Depot Market Square . To make this marathon a success, we need about 1000 volunteers on Race Day, September 28.  Many of the volunteer positions are on the course during the race, cheering and encouraging the participants.  Last year’s race participants said the volunteers made a big difference in their enjoyment of the race.  We will be recruiting volunteers across the community, but Rangers will play a significant role. We ask that each Rangers team provide 10 volunteers.  Some teams may have an away game that day; there may be some pre or post event opportunities for you.  Ask your team manager for a Marathon Volunteer Registration form.

This 2nd annual Bellingham Bay Marathon promises to be a fun and exciting event for everyone involved, and its success is crucial to the long term financial goals of our club.  Please register to volunteer.

Rangers 2008 Policies Revision and Update

The WFC Rangers Board of Director has updated the Rangers Policies and has made the document available from the Info/Handouts page.  Button at left.  The Board approved 2008 Ranger Policies shall remain in force until the next Board revision.
