RV Patriots: Welcome

 The Rancocas Valley Patriots 

Established in 1972, for over 35 years we have been teaching the fundamentals of football, cheerleading and dance to the children within our community.

The RV Patriots is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization.

We are an organization that consists of many volunteers; some are 2nd and 3rd generation family members, others who work full time and volunteer part time for the children. We also have members who have had their children go through the program and stayed behind to continue to support the RV Patriots cause.


The RV Patriots Board of Directors consists of elected Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Athletic Director, Cheer Director, and Scholastic Director) and appointed Directors (Team Managers Coordinator, Concessions, Equipment, Program Book, Public Relations, Recruitment, Safety, Scholastic, Events/Banquet, and Directors at Large).

The Board meets on the Second Tuesday of every month. Parents, guardians and interested parties are invited to attend these open meetings.

Our Mission
 

PWLS (Pop Warner Little Scholars) is an international program operated for the benefit of its youthful participants. Since 1929, the program's philosophy has been "Academics and Athletics Go Hand-in-Hand." At every level, Pop Warner Little Scholars seeks to develop well-rounded boys and girls who learn not only the fundamentals of football or cheerleading, but also the importance of education, in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind, body and character - and have a good time along the way!

The general objectives of Pop Warner are to inspire youth, regardless of gender, race, creed or national origin, and to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, academics, and physical fitness as reflected in the life of the late Glenn Scobie "Pop" Warner.

All RV Patriot Coaches, Team Parents, and all organization volunteers are criminally background checked every year. All coaches are certified by Rutgers (Safety Sports Awareness Clinic).
