Monday, September 10
Best Buds win Division 2 Title

The Best Buds defeated the Earl Grey Rockets in game 3 of best of 3 division 2 final on Monday night.  Brian Poitras would get things going for the Best Buds with a 2 run homer in the top of the 4th inning.  They would score what would prove to be the winning run in the top of the 5th on a solo home run from Jonah Agecoutay.  The Rockets would make it 3-2 on a 2 run home run from Evan Mohr in the bottom of 5, but would get no closer.  The Best Buds would tack on another run in the 6th and go on to the 4-2 victory.  Tony Cappo would go the distance for the Best Buds striking out 13 along the way.

Alpha Construction Hawks win Division 1 Championship

The Alpha Construction Hawks completed a 2 game sweep of the Bulyea Rustlers on Wednesday night with a 13-9 victory to win the Division 1 title.  In game 2 BL Sparvier led the way for the Hawks going 4 for 4 with 2 HR's (including a grand slam) and 8 RBI's.  Les George pitched all 7 innings for the Hawks recording 12 strikeouts.

Thursday, September 6
Rockets Force Deciding Game 3 in Division 2 Final

The Earl Grey Rockets defeated the Best Buds 8-2 on Wednesday night to force a deciding game 3 in the best of 3 division 2 final.  This game will be on Monday September 10, 6:45 at Kaplan Field.  The winner of this game will move up into division 1 for the 2019 season.

Tuesday, August 28
Finals set in both divisions

The finals in Div 1 will be between the Alpha Construction Hawks and the Bulyea Rustlers.

The finals in Div 2 will be between the Best Buds and the Earl Grey Rockets

 Both series will have game 1 Tuesday September 4th, game 2 on Wednesday September 5th, and game 3 on Monday September 10th if necessary.

Friday, August 24
Division 1 Semi Final Series Sweeps

The division 1 league championship is set with the 2nd seed Bulyea Rustlers defeating the 3rd seed Standing Buffalo Dakotas 8-1 to win the best of 3 semi final series 2-0.  The other semi final seen the 4th seed Alpha Contruction Hawks upset the #1 seed Moose Jaw Canadians 3-2 in game 2 to sweep the semi final series 2-0.  The division 1 best of 3 championship series will be on hold as the Bulyea Rustlers are attending Sr. A. Nationals in St. Croix, Nova Scotia.

Semi Final Series Set

All 2nd round semi final series are set to go in the Rambler Park playoffs.  Three of the four series will get underway on Tuesday night.

Fence at Rambler Park

The outfield fence on diamond 1 at Rambler Park blew over on Friday July 13th.  The City of Regina has informed us today that it wouldn't be fixed until Wednesday July 25th. The games scheduled at Rambler on Thursday July 19th, and Tuesday July 24th have been cancelled.  All games at Kaplan will be played as scheduled.

2018 Regular Season To Begin May 6

The 2018 Rambler Park Fastball League Regular Season will begin on Sunday May 6th with 4 games being played at Kaplan Field.  Double headers will start at Rambler Park on Monday May 7th.  Please note that throughout the season there will be some games played at Kaplan Field with the majority still being played at Rambler Park.  On some occasions there will be a double header in both parks.  Pay close attention to the schedule on the website for information as well as the Rambler Park hotline 306-924-3100.
