Ralston Valley Fire has overcome some early season obstacles to play in the Gold Division Playoffs Elite Eight. This is the third straight season that RV Fire has played in the Elite Eight. To play in the Elite Eight a team must be very good. To play in the Gold Division Elite Eight for three straight years, your team must be GREAT. This is a fantastic team and we are very proud of them.
Great Job Fire!!!!

Click above to see the final bracket for the Gold Crown Playoffs. The field of 48 teams is down to 12 and Ralston Valley Fire is one of them. The team played very tough in the first round and definitely deserves to be in the next round.
RV Fire plays Cherry Creek Blue next, a team that played in last years championship game. Our work is absolutely cut out for us, but bring it on!
Great Job Fire!!!

Ralston Valley Fire beat Valley and Windsor Maroon to end the Gold Crown Regular Season with a record of 10-3. They have never finished this portion of the season with such a good record - although they have made it to the final eight teams left in the playoffs - twice!
This team definitely has it's work cut out for them. But they are a very determined and talented bunch and they will do just fine. Regardless of what does happen next week, this team is AWESOME and all of these players will go as far as they want to with basketball and life.
Great Job Fire - You are Such a Good Team and
WE ARE PROUD!

Boulder Gold proved to be a much tougher team than was anticipated as Fire need the entire game to complete a victory 63-56. In this game, Andy led the way with a double-double, setting a new team record for individual assist in a game with 10.
In the second game, Fire did not fare as well, waiting until the 4th quarter to play any defense. But it was too late to keep Mullen Gold from remaining undefeated for the season. Fire is looking to rebound and be ready for next week's season-ending games and be ready for the playoffs.
Sunday, February 3
RV Fire played with a determination that smelled like success as they handed Fairview Red their only loss of the season. Along the way, Fire established a team record for free throws in a game for the second straight week with 37.
Fire has now won 6 straight games and is looking to finish the season strong and enter the playoffs as a very HOT team!!
Great Job Fire, We Are Proud of You!!

Ralston Valley Fire has played 26 games since September of 2007 to get ready for the Gold Crown Regular Season. During that time, the team compiled a record of 19 wins and 7 losses, winning one tournament and competing extremely well in all games played during the fall season.
This is what they have worked so hard for. Gold Crown is the premiere league for middle school competitive basketball and Ralston Valley Fire is ready for the challenge. For two straight seasons, Fire has made it to the final 8 teams left for the end-of-season final tournament. This year, Fire looks to match those teams of the past and maybe do even better - we will know how that works out in March 2008.
Don't forget to check back in and follow our progress!
We are fired-up!!

| Ralston Valley Fire 2007/2008 |
The Ralston Valley Fire Team was formed when these players were in the 3rd Grade. The 2007/2008 Season is the 6th Season that four of the players for Ralston Valley Fire have been on this team. The goal of the team is to prepare our players to be ready to compete when it is time to try-out for their High School Teams. We will accomplish this goal by playing in Fall and Spring Basketball Leagues, Tournaments and the Gold Crown Season.
