Rainier District Little League: 2013 Divisions
Practices will be once a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., or 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Each team will play one game per week, on Saturday or Sunday, for 1 1/2 hours. The fields for this Division are Lakeridge (south of Rainier Beach) and Brighton Playfields (behind Aki Kurose Middle School).
Coach Pitch
Coach Pitch teams practice two times a week for 1 1/4 hrs. on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. or 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each Coach Pitch team will play one two-hour game per week, on the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. Coach pitch teams will play at either Lakewood Park or the Rainier Beach Fields.
Soft Ball and Kid Pitch Divisions (Rookies, Minors, Majors)
Softball and all Kid-Pitch teams usually practice and play games three times per week, depending on the schedule. These divisions play at either Hutchinson Fields (Dunlap Elementary), Van Asselt Fields (Van Asselt Community Center), Rainier Beach Fields (Rainier Beach Community Center) or Rainier Playfield.
Juniors/Seniors/Big Leagues
Juniors, Seniors and Big League teams play four or five days a week at Rainier Playfield or Brighton Field.
