About Rain City Volleyball.........
Rain City Volleyball Club is a registered USAV Junior Olympic Organization located in the Puget Sound Region in Washington State.
Rain City Volleyball Club's Mission Statement: To bring club volleyball to the girls of Snohomish County. Volleyball is a sport for life, live it now.
The Rain City Volleyball Club was founded in 1992 to allow more players in the South Snohomish County area to experience club volleyball. The club originally began with two teams and twenty players. Over the last 15 years, the club has grown to as many six teams serving the age groups of U12-U18. Rain City has seen an explosion of talent drawing from WESCO, KINGCO, and Northwest schools from 2A to 4A divisions. Over 400 athletes from 40 different high schools have proudly worn the Rain City uniform. A number of our Alumni have joined the college ranks, competing from the Junior College level to Division I.
Our program’s major emphasis is to provide a positive learning environment in which each player may grow and develop to her full potential. Through coaches’ dedication, encouragement, and role modeling, we hope to develop within each player all of the positive qualities of good sportsmanship and fair play. To sum it up: We want the players to have fun playing volleyball.
