AFL Named Best New League in 2003
Appalachian Football League
In just their second season of play the Appalachian Football League's Champion made it to the EFA Final Four in 2003, just one game away from playing for the National Championship. For this Minor League Football News Awarded the AFL "Best New League in The Nation". Certainly quite an honor for the League and the Raiders since the Raiders are the only AFL team to ever win an EFA playoff game.
