The Tennessee Raiders officially inducted their first player into the Raider Hall of Fame at half time of the 2004 AFL Championship game.
"My name is Michael Littleton, head coach and CEO of the Tennessee Raiders. I would like to ask that you join us at this time as we bestow the highest honor that the Tennessee Raiders have for one of it's players.
In 1998 I had been coaching kids for two years when the opportunity as an assistant coach on my first minor league football team presented itself. I was deep in though at the gym and one of my high school coaches asked me what was on my mind. I told him I was trying to decide if I was going to change my life forever or if I had lost my mind. Three years later I was on my third minor league team and was heading to the playoffs my first year as head coach. I saw my coach at the gym again and ask if he recalled our conversation as I was deciding to make this coaching move. Whether I would change my life forever or if I had lost my mind. He said he did and I joked that after three years I still did not know what I had done.
But today as we honor one of our greats I can truly say that my life has been changed forever. My life has been touched and greatly blessed by my association with #54 in 6 years. He has had a few nicknames over the years but everyone knew him as "Marvelous". Their are so many it would take weeks to enjoy them all, but I would like to share a couple of my favorite stories about #54.
In 2000 we played an exhibition game at Lenoir City High School and he peeled back in the wall on a punt return and blasted this guy so hard that his mouth piece flew ten feet in the air over his head. Probably my most favorite one that the players that have played with him will not forget, in 2002 we took 25 player to face the Nashville Mustangs who dressed 63 players that night. #54 took the game over on defense and had their fans cheering for him by the fourth quarter. Out-numbered but not out manned we won that game 14-0.
More important than the things he has done on the field is the things he is off the field. He loves his family and he loves God. He serves his country by protecting our most sensitive facilities here in this area. He is a good man and a good friend.
Not only are we placing this man in our Hall of Fame but we are also retiring number. He cannot be replaced and no Raider will ever wear #54 again. Ladies and gentleman I give number 54 "Marvellous" Marvell Moore. Thank You."

Mushrush, from Illinois Wesleyan University, coached and played 2001 and 2002 with the Maryville Invaders and helped form the Tennessee Raiders in 2003 where he continued to play and coach. He has a great deal of knowledge about the game and is a gentleman on and off the field. However, he could cover like a corner and lay the boom like a linebacker. He has been sorely missed since relocating to Wisconsin at the end of the 2003 season.
