SE United -- U-12 Boys Red (2008-2009): Welcome

SE United is a joint effort of United FC (Kenosha) and the Racine Soccer Club, with a goal of improving the development of players and competiteness of teams in the Racine / Kenosha soccer community.

For the 2008 - 2009 season, two U-12 teams were formed via tryouts to play under the SE United team name.

Spring 2009

The Southeast United U-12 Red boys team is eagerly waiting for the Spring 2009 to begin, hoping to start the Spring where the Fall season left off.  The SEU boys team finished the Fall season with a 5-2-1 MYRSL league record and also had a represented well in Fall tournaments against some very good teams, including playing for the championship in the Pepsi Cup in Brookfield.

SEU Red opens up Saturday, April 18th against the Milwaukee Kickers -- Tosa Strikers on the Strikers home turf.

Fall 2008

 SE United Brings Home the (2nd Place) Cup

After dropping their first game to the MK Tosa Redbacks 4-1, SE United U-12 Red bounced back with "force," defeating the previously unbeaten Oregon (WI) Force 3-1 and the MK Southwest Kickers 5-1 to finish in a points-total tie after division play.  SEU advanced to the Championship game via tie-breaker rules based on head-to-head competition with Oregon, but ultimately lost to the Plainfield (IL) Legends 3-0 in a game that was much closer than the final score indicated.

The "Battle" is Over........and SE United Stood Strong

Playing their first games as a new team, the SE United U-12 Boys Red represented well at the United FC Battle on the Border, playing to a pair of 2-2 tie games against the two teams that ultimately played against each other for the U-12 A Boys Flight championship..  Stated another way, neither team that played in the championship game could beat our SE Untied team!

Congratulations, SE United U-12 Red Boys on a weekend full of games well played!
