Raytown will carry "Elite" teams at the 15's and 17's level if there are enough interested families with high level palyers.  These teams will commit to attending 1-2 national qualifiers and 1-2 regional festival tourneys.  The goal of these teams is to earn a bid to the National tournament held in Miami, Florida. 

  There is an increased fee structure for these teams.  Each qualifier costs each player an additional $150 above the $1000 base fee.  Each festival costs an additional $50 or $100 depending on whether a coach's stay in a hotel is required.  A $300 deposit toward the National tournament in Miami, Florida is also required.  This deposit will be refunded in full if the team does not attend the tournament.  If the team DOES attend the tourament, 1/2 the deposit will be returned and the remaining 1/2 will cover the entry fee and coach's travel.  If the team DOES attend the tournament and the athlete drops from the team and does NOT attend, the entire deposit will be transferred to defray the costs of a replacement player.  The family not attending the tournament will NOT receive any portion of the deposit in return. 

  ALL fees for additional tournaments beyond the $1000 base fee are used to cover the entry fees and coach's expenses for those tournaments.
