Welcome to the Quartz Hill Little League Web page. The objective of our Little League shall be to implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence, so they will be well adjusted, stronger and happier youth and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy adults.

Friday, January 15, 2010 (6pm-9pm) Quartz Hill High School Library **Final Registration Date**

All players (returning and new) must bring birth certificate and 3 proofs of residency that show address of the legal residence of the parent(s) or court appointed guardian(s) for the player. Three different proofs are required. You cannot use 3 utility bills.

Acceptable proofs of residency documents are:

1. Drivers License      5. School Records           9. Medical Records

2. Auto Registration   6. Homeowner Records   10. Fed/State/Local Records

3. Auto Insurance      7. Tenant Records        11. One Utility Bill

4. Voter Registration  8. Welfare Records        12. Support Payment Records

 

Registration Fees:

T-Ball and Coach Pitch $70 plus $30 raffle tickets

Baseball and Softball $90 plus $30 raffle tickets

Family maximum $225 plus fundraiser

Quartz Hill Little League is introducing the Challenger Division! The Challenger Division welcomes players with physical and mental challenges. Children must be between the ages 5-21 and enrolled in school. The same proof of residency restrictions apply. 2009 PITCHING RULES CHANGE

Regular Season Pitching Rule Changes for the 2008 season. 

New Baseball Pitching and Pitch Count Regulations:

  • League Age 17-18 - 105 pitches per day
  • League Age 13-16 - 95 pitches per day
  • League Age 11-12 - 85 pitches per day
  • League Age 9-10 - 75 pitches per day
  • League Age 7-8 - 50 pitches per day
·        Exception: If a pitcher reaches the limit imposed for his/her league age while facing a batter, the pitcher may continue to pitch until that batter reaches base or is put out.
  • A player may not pitch in more than one game in a day.
  • There is no limit to the number of pitchers a team may use in a game.
  • Intentional Walk:  There is none.  The pitcher must throw 4 balls.
  • A pitcher who delivers 41 or more pitches in a game cannot play the position of catcher for the remainder of that day
 

New Pitcher Mandatory Rest Regulation (16 and under)

 
  • If a player pitches 61 or more pitches in a day, three (3) calendar days of rest and one (1) game must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 41 - 60 pitches in a day, two (2) calendar days of rest and one (1) game must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 21 - 40 pitches in a day, one (1) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 1-20 pitches in a day, no (0) calendar day of rest must be observed.
