Quad Cities Starz is an all-star lacrosse club consisting primarily of players from the Quad Cities of the Poway Unified School District (Poway, RB, Mt. Carmel and Rancho Penasquitos). The Scripps Ranch area has also been included since the inception of QC Starz. Our main focus is to provide your child with top notch instruction and an opportunity to play lacrosse at a high level during the offseason. We believe that by providing your child with increased playing opportunities and skill development will result in an improved and well-rounded player to go forward in his or her lacrosse future.
History: Quad Cities was created and launched in the summer of 2005. Beginning with only 2 teams, we have quickly grown to 4 boy's and 4 girl's squads within the program. With the outstanding growth in the youth and middle school lacrosse in our area, we firmly believe our program will continue to grow and strengthen in years to come.
STARZ Philosophy: The Starz philosophy is to provide an enhanced level of coaching, instruction, education and competition to players with a true passion for the game. Our coaching staff is comprised of paid coaches with top level playing experience and the same passion for the game that we seek in our players. We take this common passion as a starting point and use it as the catalyst to develop a family atmosphere with the hope of fostering friendships that can last a lifetime. By combining the best of talent and coaching, atmosphere and friendships, the Starz experience is sure to benefit the development of our young athletes and students.

Thank you to everyone that tried out for a team this season. While it is unfortunate that not everyone can make the team the fact that the coaches had so much trouble finalizing the rosters is a good sign that the sport is growing in this area. All of the coaches recommend that every player works the wall and seeks out other playing opportunites as the Spring School season is just around the corner.

QC Starz has a strict behavior and attendance policy for players and parents. It is expected that QC players will always show good sportsmanship and to be good club representatives where ever they go. Poor sportsmanship will result in disciplinary action and may lead to removal from the club. Unexcused absences will not be tolerated and will lead to removal from the QC Club. Please contact your coach in advance if you are unable to make a practice or a game. The use of drugs and/or alcohol is also strictly prohibited. If players are caught using either substance while under the supervision of the QC Program, they will be removed from the club and the matter will be referred to local law enforcement.
Parents are requested to watch games from the side of the field opposite the players. Parents are also requested to set a good example for our players. We expect you to show good sportsmanship towards players, coaches and officials at all times. Unsportsmanlike parent behavior may lead to player removal from the club. If you have a problem please contact your coach or the club administration at an appropriate time.
If a player is dismissed for violating any of the behavior or attendance policies above, no refunds will be issued.
