Last minute interest in MS Girls at both SD RIP and QC Starz, has caused Starz Team Adminstrators to reconsider fate of MS Season. Again no official decision, yet, and refunds will be made available if cancelled. All interested girls should go ahead and register for the Try-outs, (helps confirm the level of interest), and show up a the tryouts, on Sunday. Reach out to friends and neighbors who have athletic MS aged daughters and try to get them out as well. If every starz team can pick up a few more girls, we can keep the season alive.

After several attempts to secure a more central location for Sunday Tryouts and Practices in November, we are left with only one field location option for our first 5 weeks - Morning Creek Elementary School. Due to limited coaching availability on Saturdays, we will have to stick with Sundays, this year. Therefore,...
All Girls Tryouts will be Conducted at Morning Creek Elementary School, on Sunday, Nov. 8th, from 3-5pm.

The 2009/2010 Winter Starz Lacrosse Season is almost upon us, and the Registration is now open. Use the above link to Register for Try-outs, NOW!
TRY-OUT INFORMATION:
WHEN: Sunday, November 8th, 2009, 3 - 5pm

PRACTICES: We will be practicing on Sundays at Morning Creek Elementary School through early December, then, transitioning to Field 7 at RBHS. (Times, anticipate 10am-12noon). Sorry for the inconvenience, but the RBHS Fields are being renovated and will be unavailable until December.
TEAMS: Elite (Typically experienced Varsity players)
High School (9th - 12th graders who don't make the Elite Squad)
December 12/13: Jamboree #2 (SD)
February 6th: Starz Cup Championships! (SD)
2010 Sandstorm Tournament in Palm Springs - January 16/17
Starz Lacrosse will be holding a tryout on December 12th for Elite Starz Players only, to form an All-Starz, all-star team, so-to-speak, for the 2010 Sandstorm Tournament in Palm Springs. More details to come.
Arrangements have already been made for all QC Starz Elite team members to have an opportunity to play for the Rancho Bernardo-based, "Team San Diego", at this same tournament (OPTIONAL). Because this tournament is outside of the normal Starz Program, participation will require an additional registration fee ($200), regardless of whether participation will be through the All-Starz squad, or Team San Diego. Girls interested in participating will need to contact the Team San Diego administrator, John Sieger, for additional information, shortly after the try-outs. This is a highly touted, West Coast recruiting event that should be seriously considered by anyone hoping to play Lacrosse in College.
*Comprised mostly of players from the Rancho Bernardo, Del Norte, Westview and Mt. Carmel High School areas (but all dynamite athletes are welcome!)
NOTE Poway, Ramona and Scripps Ranch area players are encouraged to register for the new SD Sharkz Starz program based out of Poway.
