HAWKS COME FROM BEHIND FOR THE VICTORY
In the bottom of the ninth inning down one run Dave Beckner began the Potomac Hawks comeback rally by hustling to first base on a dropped third strike and advancing to second on the throwing error by the Indians catcher. Dave Beckner representing the tying run was then able to advance to third base on a wild pitch. Steven Rodriguez then slapped a single past the diving shortstop to score the tying run. With Steven Rodriguez and Robbie Klein on first and second base JT Gregory stepped to the plate an blasted an 0-1 fastball deep over the center field fence to give the Potomac Hawks a dramatic come from behind victory.
