President’s Message

Hard to believe that our regular season is coming to an end (except for 6u teams) 

For the 6u teams, we hope that your players are enjoying their first experience with softball and will continue to have a great couple weeks of games.  On closing day Saturday- May 11, 2013, we will have our final games and a 6u season end party under the trees at 11:30am. 

For 8u,10u, and 12u teams, your final playoff schedule will be available on the website and with your managers early this week.   

For the 14u's, we hope that your season was successful and that you do well in playoffs. 

For all our players, May 11, 2013 is closing day.  Our schedule for that day.... 

9:00 – 10:00            6U Final Games 
10:00 – 11:00          Closing Day Ceremony.  (Distribution of Sportsmanship Awards & Regular Season Trophies) 
11:00 – 11:30          Championship Games Warm up 
11:30 – 1:30            Championship Games 
11:30 – 1:30            6U Division Season End Party  (Hot Dog, Chips, and Drink provided for every 6U player) 

In closing, we hope that this season was a great experience.  Our goal is that the teams have fun, players learn the game and develop, and come back for another season.  The only way we can get better is if we receive feedback on how we can make our league better. 

As a league, it is very exciting to see that more than 80% of the Peninsula High School and PV High School JV and Varsity softball teams played at PVPGSL.  Our league has a long term impact on our community and looks forward to our continued commitment to developing our teams and players.
