The Little League Baseball, Incorporated is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball.” 

Behind the strong pitching of Jake Walker, and another outstanding offensive showing, the 9/10 PV North All-Stars captured the 2009 9/10 District 3 championship with an 11-1 win over Cactus.

The team now advances to the State tourney in Queen Creek, which will start on July 17.  Schedule will be posted to the website when available.

Congratulations to the players and coaches!  Way to go PV North!!

The PVNLL 9/10 All-Stars came out on top 10-5 in a come-from-behind win over a tough High Desert American team.  Trailing 5-1, the boys scored 6 runs in the top of the 5th, then tacked on 3 more in the 6th.  They now advance to the District 3 championship game vs. Cactus, 7:00PM on Friday, July 3, at Horseshoe Trails Elementary School.  Come out and support the team!!

Jake Walker tossed a one-hitter, and led the 9/10 PVNLL All-Stars to a 11-1 quarterfinal victory over Shadow Mountain.  The balanced offensive attack was led by Jake Holmes, who had 3 hits. The team is back in action tonight (Wed. July 1) in a semifinal matchup against High Desert American.  Game time is 7:00PM at Anthem Community Park (3600 W Anthem Way, Phoenix, AZ 85086).  Come out and support the team!  GO PV NORTH!!

Behind a combined no-hitter by Jake Walker and Gage Johnson, the PVNLL 9/10 All-Stars won their third game is as many tries over South Mountain, 11-0.  The victory clinched a spot in the playoff round, which will start Tuesday June 30.  Next up for the team is their final pool game vs. Cactus, 7:45PM at Horseshoe Trails on Monday June 29.  Come out and support the team!

The PVNLL 9/10 All-Stars, defending District 3 champs, opened up pool play with a 10-0 win over Cactus Foothills North.  Among the many highlights of the game was a 2-run homer by Gage Johnson.  The team is back in action on Thursday June 25, 5:30PM game time vs. Cactus Foothills South, at Horseshoe Trails Elementary School (on 52nd St just north of Jomax).

The Majors Dodgers fought hard, but lost 7-4 in extra innings to the eventual TOC champions, High Desert.

Congrats to the team, and manager Brian Wahlberg, and coaches Tom Doherty and Mel Mallinak, for a great season. You represented PVNLL well!!
