2005 PV Alumni vs. HS Varsity Game
6/8/2005 - Thanks to all of the alumni and current high school players that played in our June 8, 2005 Alumni Vs. Varsity game. It seemed like it was a lot of fun for all, particularly for the alumni who got a chance to relive some of those "glory days". Depending upon future interest, we may do this again.
We are not even sure of the final score. The close game was knotted 3-3 at halftime. After that, the alumni tanks ran pretty dry. We believe the final score was 9-5 - varsity wins.

Thanks to these alumni who played (we might have missed a few here):
Tim Connolly '00, Steve Kurylo '00, Dan McGonigal '01, Matt Moyer '01, Will Szili '01, Jamie Alexander '02, Mike Breslin '02, Sam Crossgrove '02, Matt Lavin '02, Justin Vandergrift '02, Matt Lee '03, Brandon Barish '04, Steve Boorse '04, Ryan Gregory '04, Dave Hughes '04, Ryan Kane '04, Chris Martinelli '04, and Chris Partner '04.

Special note - these PV Alumni could not make the game because they were serving our country in the armed forces:

Pat also got the expert marksman ranking with an M-16 (15/16 at 500 yards - he always was a good shot). If anyone wants to call Pat, his current cell phone number is 267-236-6336

Matt "Chopper" Lee - PV '03

    Matt Krupp - PV '00
3/28/01 - Matt Krupp (PV '00) sent us a note to tell us about his lacrosse playing at Shippensburg. The following is edited for all audiences (rated PG-13)

"This past weekend I had a great time. We left Friday around 4 to travel to Pitt to play a tournament. We were scheduled to play East Stroudsburg at 10, but Navy showed up so
late that we got bumped back and had to play Pitt at 10. Playing a Division 1 team wasn't as scary as I thought. First, they weren't as big as the teams on TV look, and I don't think they were really that good.
We played indoors on turf and ended up 2-7. Later that night we went back and crashed at the 5 Star hotel we were staying at, along with ten other guys LAX teams, and 6 girls LAX teams. We our rooms were on the same floor as the guys from Oshewa, the Canadian team that won this tournament last year.
On Saturday, we played Navy at 10:00am didn't even bother putting in our first string goalie. We ended up 3-alot. Next we played a team at 4:00 called either Three Rivers or Three Village Lax and lost but the score was close, something like 3-4. Overall, I think this weekend was a great experience. I got a
lot of play time against Navy, and even got to knock one of those seamen on his ass. Saturday night, all the teams were given free passes to this exclusive night club, the Attic. Sunday, we stumbled out of bed and left around 11 to go back to school. Fill me in about how the Season's going back home !!"
