Latest PV News/Updates
Do you want to be the "QB" of your lacrosse team?

The heart and soul of the team?
Be a Goalie!
We cannot advance as a program without the critical and crucial role of the goal tender. However, at this point we are poised to have 4 teams this spring, and currently have 1 returning goalie.

Not to slight any one position, but there is no more valuable position on team then goalie/goaltender . The goalie will have a huge impact on the defense, but also the offense. They are the ones that initiates the offense through decision making on the “clears”. They typically have to be a good athlete, with good reactions, good decision making under pressure and be willing to be a vocal leader on the field.
Being a goalie is not for everyone with the afore mentioned characteristics, but if your son would be interested or willing to try, we would like to work with them prior to the start of the season. We would start with Tennis Balls, so that no one is “shell shocked” the first day out. If he is interested, please let me know so that we can try to schedule some time prior to the initial season practices.

Think about it... if your interested let us know. If not you....maybe you know of a young man that would be interested in joining us as a goalie, please let me know. Possibly a neighbor who plays hockey goalie or play(ed) catcher for his baseball team and has never tried lacrosse. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks
DFlynn
