The Marty Daugherty Memorial Coach of the Year Award
Marty was a much-loved and admired coach for many years in PTCLL, and to honor his memory and committment to the kids of Peachtree City and the game of baseball, for the second time PTCLL is awarding one manager or coach the award named for Marty. It is for a coach loved beyond those on his own team for his dedication and his ability to inspire the players to do their best and to have fun.
Thank you to all who sent in nominations. They were so touching to read that we thought we'd post some of them for all to see.

A reminder about background checks: We are required by Little League to run background checks ahead of every spring season (starting in January) and it is good through the fall season. ALL background checks will have to be (re)submitted for the spring season even if you submitted one for fall. Please know that PTCLL is continuously working on ways to make the process easier and as efficient as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sherry Van de Motter, PTCLL Safety Director or Sallie Metzger, VP Administration.

PTCLL SWEEPS 7-8 TITLES

The Red Team defeated the Blue Team in the all-PTC Final of the District 4 Coach-pitch tournament, one night after the kid-pitch team won their Championship as well.
