PTAC: Welcome

The PTAC Board wants to take this opportunity to welcome all our returning 
PTAC club members back for the coming season as well as all our new members beginning their swimming careers with us.

We are now ready to "hit the waters with a splash," with practice staring for returning swimmers Tuesday  September 9, Pre Aqua week starting September 14th, with full practice for all levels starting September 21.  Check the calendar. 

As the season progresses, we believe you will be very pleased with our coaching staff and team. I’m sure the swimmers are fired up and motivated to get the season started.

This year we will again be utilizing this website as our source of communication. Please visit the website often for it is updated daily. 
Information regarding practice changes, upcoming meets sign up, practice calendars, meet results etc. will be updated in the website.

We will still send out information via email when necessary. We will try to keep emails to a minimum, but it is important we have a current email address to let you know about certain things.

Phone Tree - Please email if you have any changes.   If your name appears at the top of a list, you are responsible for calling the family names listed under you when prompted by coach or board member.

 Scarecrow Invitational 11/8 @ Derry W/UP @ 7:30 -8:00 lanes 1-5

Directions to Derry High School -  Click on pool found on the left and click on get derections add your address and it will list 2 suggested routes to get to the school,  US Route  22 and US Route 30.  Us Route 22 is the best way to get to the school due to a detour/construction on Route 30. 

•  Dual Meets  - Sign ups for Derry @ PTAC 11/14 are now open.   Signups close on Monday,  11/09/09.   NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED!  Any changes need to be emailed to Coach Babik @ babikd@penntrafford.org prior to the meet.  Concessions Donations Sign up is now posted.
• AMS -  FAST Mini-Distance meet and Pitt Xmas Invitational signups are posted.  Please refer to AMS portion of website for signup deadlines.
• If your swimmer would like to swim an event at an AMS meet for which they do not already have a previous time (indicated as "NT" on the signups sheets), please have one of the coaches time your swimmer at practice PRIOR to submitting your entry forms.  This will allow your swimmer to be seeded correctly at the meet they will be swimming the event at.
