Welcome to our team web site. CU is a U-16 team competing in MAPS Futsal, MAPS League and Super Y.

Our objective is to develop and promote the game of soccer through the principle of “let the kids have fun”, and place the development of the game and players above other considerations.

Our NATIONAL D LICENSE staff and professional trainers provide training two times per week on our truf fields and local gyms.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
There will always be a close duel between an individual's liberty/freedom on the field and the collective team play, between talent and muscle, between the system and the instinct, between the smile and the lack of fantasy when coaches say that soccer is a very serious thing.
No order, tactics, system or what ever you may want to call it can destroy/kill creativity, the touch that unbalances, the dribbling that thrills you, the movement of the body that lies so that the opponent/defender eats the lie or the goalie moves but stay motionless.

Our Super Y team will be participating in the Super-Y National Competition in Tampa Florida on December 2 - 6, 2011.

Celtic United reached the 2010-11 finals in the Futsal State competition in PA and NJ.

Our next competition is the northeast regional championship in Wildwood NJ February 18-21.

Congratulations to Vito Turi and Matthaus Rivera for making the 2010 Super Y ODP pool camp. Both player will be spending four day in Florida showcasing their talent.

Celtic United reaches Futsal state semifinal with an impressive  2W, 1T, 1L on PK's to State champion FC Unido. Score was tied after regulation time 5-5. PK result was 5-5 vs. 5-4.

The placement will provide us with the opportunity to play the regional championship tournament in NYC.

Celtic United will be participating in the Futsal league in Totowa NJ starting 1/3/09
