The coaching staff of Pro-Prep has a weekly event called the "HEAVY HITTERS CLUB". This is a strictly voluntary clinic where hitting is the focus.

The clinic is held at Pro-Prep Baseball/Softball Academy Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30PM. You should check this website each week or call Pro-Prep 619-258-6921 to make sure of any changes. Click on the "calendar" button on the left of this page, then click on the Heavy Hitters link on the date of the clinic and it will tell you where that day's workout will be.

The main points to know about the clinic is that any age group is allowed; there is a $10.00 per meeting per player charge in a pay-as-you-go format with no pre-pays; the instructors involved and are asking that only serious players participate. They are looking to help players that are willing to work hard in a focused workout to improve their hitting skills. Anyone that comes to horse around and is disrespectful of other people's time will lose their privileges to attend for a time to be determined by the instructors.

Full teams are welcomed. If you would like your team to participate please call in advance. This will give the staff the opportunity to set up more stations which minimizes the number of players in each station and maximizes the amount of their swings. Teams can also set up their own private Heavy Hitters session by calling Pro-Prep and making an appointment. 619-258-6921 There is a 5 player minimum and a discount ($8 per player per session instead of $10 per player per session) on 10 or more players per team.
