An easier stroll (and easier for strollers!): When you come to Anderson Fields in Spring of 2012, you'll see a long-overdue improvement: asphalt walkways have replaced the loose rocks along the perimeter of Bocket Field, in the area in front of the Hopper (concession stand) and the pathway from the Verizon Wireless parking lot. After approval was obtained from our landlord, the James A. Anderson Post, No. 1199, of the American Legion, the major portion of the work was done in October. Pearl River Little League would like to acknowledge and thank the Heffernan family, whose generous contribution made it possible to finally proceed with the project.

The 2011 PRLL Spring and Tournament Season was another successful year for PRLL baseball and softball players. See the list of division-winning teams; a good showing by the Giants in the T of C; the Boys' baseball program reaches new heights when not one, but two teams (the 12 year-olds and the 10 year-olds) take District 18 and Section 4 crowns and reach the State Tournament; the Junior Girls team repeats their feat of two years ago and wins the New York State Championship, and this time comes to within one run of a trip to the Junior World Series!; the Major Girls team falls short in District 18, but wins the Hank Jaxel Tournament; plus the details of the 8th Annual Kayser-Brady Memorial Tournament.
