Welcome to Prince William Youth Rugby Football Club!

Offering Tag and Tackle rugby
for Boys and Girls
ages 5* to 18**
(*younger players considered on a case-by-case basis;
**must be 18 years of age on, or before 9/1/2012)

The Club will compete against other local Youth/High School clubs in the Rugby Virginia League.

 (2) seasons planned for 2013 - Spring Boys High School & Boys Youth (U13/15) Tackle,

and Summer Youth Co-ed Tag and Boys & Girls Tackle.

Spring High School Boys Tackle is open to boys enrolled in High School (ages 15*-18.  The season will begin with practices late February/early March, and weekend matches from mid-March through late-May/June, culminating in the Virginia State Championships.

Spring Youth Boys (U13/U15) Tackle is open to boys ages 11*-15, provided they have not reached their 15th birthday by January 1st preceding the Spring season).  Practices late February/early March, and weekend matches from mid-March through late-May, culminating in the Spring Youth tournament.

PW Youth Rugby will field teams during the Spring season, in the following age groups:

  • Boys Tackle U-13, U-15
  • Boys High School Tackle (U-17 & 19)

Summer Youth Co-ed Tag and Boys & Girls Tackle is open to boys and girls ages 5*-18, provided they have not reached their 18th birthday by September 1st preceding the Summer season).  Practices late-May, and both weekday & weekend matches from mid-June through late-July/early August, culminating with the Rugby Virginia Youth Tournament, part of the Virginia Commonwealth Games.

PW Youth Rugby will field teams during the Summer season, in the following age groups:

  • Coed, non-contact Tag U-7, U-9, U-11 and U-13/U-15
  • Boys Tackle U-13, U-15, U17 and U-19
  • Girls Tackle U-15/U-17/U19

**Clinics may be held during the "off-season", check the "News & Updates" and "Message Boards" for updates**

Practices are normally Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.  Location: Nokesville Community Park.

Games: some Thursdays, and Saturdays.  Location: tbd
