Presidio Little League 2012: Presidio News
Spring Break came up very quickly this season, and we hope all of the Presidio Little League families were able to enjoy some time off with your kids. As we get ready for the bulk of the 2012 season we encourage all of you to come on down to the fields and enjoy some games that are outside your player's division. Bring a lawn chair, buy an Icee from the snack shack and enjoy a pleasant evening in Mission Valley watching a Minors, Majors or Juniors game. Schedules are posted on the web site. We've been very fortunate to have good weather on game days, all except the St. Patrick's Day downpour. Juniors, Majors and Minors games that were scheduled for March 17th will be re-scheduled. Check with your coach for specific dates and times. We will also update the online schedule when we have the makeup dates for that weekend, or any other future rainouts. CAPS and T-Ball games that were scheduled for March 17th will not be re-scheduled.
Fun Events Coming Up :
May 6th will be Little League Day at Petco Park. The Padres will be playing the Florida Marlins in a 1:05PM start, and we'll have 100 tickets for sale. Tickets will include a pre-game gathering as we've had other years with some tasty sub sandwiches included in your ticket cost. Tickets will be available for $23 at the Snack Shack.
We're looking to hold the annual "coaches" softball game in Mid-April, as well as looking at the possibility of a "players vs. moms" game. If you're interested , please let Bruce know. Times and dates still to be determined, but this would be on a Saturday after the last Minors game of the day.
