Welcome to the Home of Archbishop Prendergast Crew Team. This is a place where Team Members, Parents, Coaches, Potential Prendie Rowers, Former Prendie Rowers and Fans can go to find out news, schedules, results, and general interesting stuff about the Archbishop Prendergast High School Rowing Program.
Prendie Crew has been going strong since 1995 and currently has about 30-50 girls on the team, including the Freshman/Novice team. We have a Fall racing season, but the spring season is our main focus. For more about Prendie Crew, please check out the 'Handouts' section of this website & go to the 'Rower's Handbook'. Just about any possible question about Prendie Crew can be answered here. If not, please feel free to contact the coach.
Also info about our organization BONNER ROWING ASSOCIATION INC. If you are a Rower, Parent, or Fan, you can have access to other areas of the website. Apply for a password and tell us who you are. We look forward to hearing from you.

For Those Looking to Try Rowing
For any Prendie student who would like to see what the sport of rowing is all about, you are encouraged to stop into a practice. These are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 5pm to 7pm beginning on Monday Nov. 30th and on Saturdays & Sundays from 10am to 12noon in the Fitness Center. Those participating in a Winter Sport can join as well....Crew is in season during the Spring. Students of any year can join and learn how to row--its never too late!

Spring Crew Sign-Ups
If you have been on Prendie Crew, are currently on Prendie Crew, or plan on joining Prendie Crew, please make sure at least one parent from each family attends the Genral Meeting on Thursday Nov. 19th at 7:30pm. This meeting will be in Prendie's cafeteria. All registration, dues, calendar, Tag Day, fundraising, etc.....info will be discussed & distributed at this meeting. This is required for all Varsity & Novice/Freshman rowers as well as a parent from each household.

Philadelphia Marathon Cheer Zone
On Sunday, Nov. 22nd, Prendie Crew will be volunteering to take part in the Philadelphia marathon as spectators placed at a specific locations. The marathon organizers set up a table with speakers that we plug an IPod into to play music & cheer the runners on. It isn't any more complicated than that. The marathon makes a $500 donation to our team for this effort--easy money! Rowers, friends, & family are encouraged to take part. We should be there by 8am. Our location is at the corner of Sedgley Drive & Lemon Hill Drive. This is the road that intersects Kelly Drive at Lloyd Hall, about 1/4 mile up(north/east) away from the river. We need to confirm at least 2 parent volunteers to chaperone this. Please contact John muff if you can help out: JMuff@septa.org

Varsity team-Begins Saturday Nov. 28th:
-Mondays & Fridays: 5:30am to 7am
-Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5pm to 7pm
-Wednesdays: OFF
-Saturdays & Sundays: 8am to 10am
Novice/Freshman Team-Begins Monday Nov. 30th:
-Mondays, Wed., & Fridays: 5pm to 7pm
-Tues & Thursday: OFF
-Saturdays & Sundays: 10am to noon

Car Wash
Thanks so much to all who came out to get their cars washed--it was a very successful fundraiser for Prendie Crew. Special thanks to all the girls who put in the hard work and to John Muff & the parents who helped out.

Prendie Crew is seeking your help !!!!!
Prendie Crew is actively seeking donations to help us upgrade our equipment. We are still racing in boats that are older than the girls rowing in them. We need to make an appeal to all former rowers, rower families, friends, and anyone interested in helping us. Your help in any way would be greatly appreciated. Individual Oars for Sale
Looking for a unique gift for your son or daughter who is graduating high school or college to remember their years of rowing? Have a bar in your basement that could use some decoration? Want to give a gift to Mom or Dad for driving you to practice all of those early mornings? Prendie Crew is selling some of its oars to individuals. They are currently painted Prendie's colors but can easily be painted Bonner green or whatever color you want! They can be personalized or left as is. Each oar is about 9 feet long & hangs easliy from any ceiling or wall. Any reasonable offer will be taken.
