Kyle Lindsey - Assistant Coach (3rd season)

Lindsey is entering his third season as pitching coach for the Wildcats.  In his first season, five pitchers moved on from PRCC to pitch at a University.  In his second season, the lone sophomore on the pitching staff signed with a Division 1 program, while one freshman also moved on to a Division 1 school.  The Purvis native was a standout right hander for the 2007-2008 Pearl River squads where he earned first team NJCAA All-American honors as a sophomore before continuing his collegiate career at the University of Southern Mississippi. A 2010 USM graduate, Lindsey served as pitching coach at his alma mater Purvis High School.  He was a former standout shortstop-pitcher for the Tornadoes and was instrumental in PHS winning back-to-back MHSAA Class 3A state championships in 2004 and 2005. Lindsey headed to PRCC after his high school graduation. His sophomore season, the Wildcats won the MACJC South Division title and finished second in the state and Region 23 tournaments. Besides his All-American accolades, Lindsey was also the national Division II strikeout leader his sophomore season. After signing on with then-head coach Corky Palmer’s Southern Miss squad, he was an integral part of the Golden Eagle squad earning a 2009 College World Series berth. Lindsey works with Wildcat pitchers and recruiting.
