The Lions kicked off the season by taking three of four duals at the "Lion's Den Kickoff" at the PHS gym.  The hard work in the practice room was evident by the Lion's skill level on the mat Saturday.  Prattville scores:

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, the Lion's captured their first tournament championship of the year at the Hewitt Trussville Duals. After winnning their pool with victories over Clay-Chalkville and Mt. Brook the Lions faced the highly touted Eagles of Oak Mountain.  The dual came down to the last match, and the Lions needed a pin to secure the victory and a place in the finals.  Tyler Will came through big for the Lions when he pinned his opponent with about ten seconds remaining in the match.  In the finals the Lions defeated Benjamin Russell.  This dual also came down to the last match.  Travis Hill secured the win and championship for the Lions with a dominating victory over his foe.

The Lion's next competition will be a tri meet Thursday night in Opelika.
