(Q) How do Fundraising funds get distributed?
(A) Only families that participate in the fundraiser will get money. Whatever you sell the profits go directly to your child's account. (Example - Marie Calendar Pies sell for $10.00. $6 goes to Marie Calendars and $4 is profit. If your child sells 10 pies then $40 goes into your child's account.) Profit is not divvied up amongst the team. Their can be exceptions to this rule. Exceptions need to be a team decision.

(Q) How do we know how much is in our account?
(A) The team treasure will hand out statements at least 4 times a year. Feel free to ask anytime outside of those times.

PARENT CONDUCT (Letter from our DOC):

As games get tight and we are all hoping for the best results for our children I must once again remind you all that this game is for the kids enjoyment and we are all there to spectate. We don’t want our club to be like so many other clubs out there we want our club to be the example for others to follow. To achieve this we have to be the ones who let the kids play, the coaches coach and the referees to make calls we don’t like and let it go!!

As a parent in the club, you are not to do any coaching of your child or others from the sideline. I have instructed coaches that should there be a problem with a parent continually giving direction to their child, the coach is to pull the child off the field until the parents can settle down. The coaches work hard during the week to train the kids to perform their best come Saturday. The teams need you to support them, not tell them what you want them to do. Such compliments as “boot it”, “clear it”, “pass it”, “get back” or “get up”, “nice kick”, or other things along those lines would all constitute coaching and should not be said. Support your child and enjoy the opportunity to watch them play.

As for the referees, leave them alone!! These kids and adults are generally doing the best that they can. Sometimes we may not always like the call, but we have to live with it. If you happen to have a younger referee with less experience, we need to encourage them and not destroy their desire to become an older referee with more experience. I want to see our kids be ones who can deal with the adversity of not getting all the calls they want from the referee. I want to see our kids be able to handle a physical and rough game and maintain the focus necessary to win one of those battles. I don’t want to hear our kids coming off the field using the referee as an excuse for losing a game or not playing to the best of their ability. I want to see our kids come off the field feeling successful no matter which way the game was called. This will prepare all of our teams for the battles that lie ahead come the post season.
