Team Tournament Schedules
The following tournament schedule is tentative and list those tournaments we are entering or have entered.  It is not final until coaches and teams have a chance to review, decide and confirm.

If a tournament date is in bold, that tournament date is confirmed for that team.  Tournaments may be added or deleted for various reasons, even if they have confirmed dates.  If a tournament is canceled for any reason, a make-up tournament may or may not be rescheduled.  Tournament dates are always subject to change.  Check back frequently for the latest changes.  Changes will be annotated in red.

For the regular season, each team is guaranteed 8 tournaments or 2 tournaments per month, Jan through Regionals.  However, we typically end up with approximately 10 tournaments for the season.

Attendance at Tournaments:
Players must be at their tournament site no later than one hour prior to the start time of the tournament's first match, unless coaches require their players to be there earlier.  If you sit the first round at 8 AM and your first match starts at 9 AM, you need to be there by 7 AM, not 8 AM, because 8 AM is the tournament's first match.  Sometimes pools change due to teams dropping out at the last minute and your first match at 9 AM could easily move to 8 AM.  If you're not there to play at 8 AM, you will forfeit that first match.

Once at a tournament, teams will find a team area and sit together when they are not playing.  That is your time to bond as a team.  Family members are also welcome to sit in the team area, especially since many of our teams have team food tables at tournaments.  Boy friends are welcome to sit and eat with the team and family members but players may not take off and spend all their time with their boy friends.  Same with cell phones.  At the tournament, spend time with each other, get to know each other, bond and create chemistry.

Players may not leave a tournament site until the coach dismisses them at the end of the day.  Parents may leave to get food for their players for example, but players must remain at the site at all times.  Again, sometimes matches or officiating assignments get moved up earlier and teams must be ready to react.

It is standard practice, after losing a match in tournament (bracket) play, for the losing team to officiate the next match, before going home.  This is a team responsibility and everyone on the team must stay to fulfill that responsibility.  If a player has to leave, that player will sit out the entire first match at the next tournament.  The reason for leaving the tournament while a team is still officiating their last match is irrelevant and does not exempt anyone from this "sit out" policy.  If the team had won instead, I'm certain no one would be leaving early.
