Powerstroke Athletic Club is committed to Building Young Leaders through Athletics

PowerStroke Athletic Club is a non-profit organization that promotes youth sports programs in Southeastern Michigan for boys and girls ages 5-17.

Our objectives are to develop better citizens through organized amateur sports and fitness activities that teach the value of sportsmanship and develop traits of character such as self-reliance, courtesy, compassion, loyalty, honesty, and cooperation.

We believe that participation in athletics is one of the healthiest and most cost-effective options for helping young people make good choices about life's many decisions. Our programs allow boys and girls to participate in fun, age-appropriate activies while educating them on both the physical and mental benefits of athletic competition helping them to:

  • Establish personal standards of excellence
  • Learn valuable leadership, critical-thinking and communication skills
  • Learn life lessons both on and off the field of play
  • Unite in group goals and common commitment
