Dates set for Tryouts and Volleyball Camp
Team tryouts will be held at the Poway High School Gym 8/12 - 8/14.
For All Freshman, tryouts will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 PM
For all returning players, tryouts will be from 3:00 - 4:30 PM and 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Coach Steve Lamb will be conducting a volleyball camp prior to the tryouts:
When: August 10th and 11th
Time: 7:00 am to 10:00 am
Where: At the Epic Volleyball Center in Poway. 13955 Stowe Drive
Who: Anyone that is trying to make a high school volleyball team.
Why: The camp will be a review of all the basic skills and some new techniques.
Cost: $60.00 for the camp and checks can be made out to Stephen Lamb.
Please have registration and waiver form filled out for the camp
Annual Athletic Physicals available at Poway High School
Every athlete at Poway High School must have an annual physical exam in order to participate in a sport. You can take your physical at the Poway High School gymnasium on Thursday, June 4th from 6 - 8:30 PM. The cost for the physcial is $20.
Athletic Handbooks available online
A big thank you to Arlene Grosely and Todd Parr for getting the
COMPLETE Athletic Handbook online!! You may now send your parents/athletes, etc, to the PHS website
http://www.powayusd.com/pusdphs and click on the “Program” button and then “athletics”. On the next screen, click on ”ATHLETIC FORMS AND TICKET TO PLAY”.
It is the responsibility of the parents & athlete to download and read the handbook and secure the forms they need to get their Ticket to Play. We will still have hardcopies of the handbook in the office until the end of the school year and will keep some available for those who may not have internet access.
