Potomac Thunder
Welcome to the team site of the Potomac Soccer Association Thunder. The Thunder is a U-14 girl's travel soccer team located in the Gaithersburg/North Potomac areas of Maryland. The Potomac Thunder is coached by Pete Morillo and began its inaugural season in the Spring of 2004. We are playing in the WAGS league for the 2008-2009 season. The Thunder trains throughout the year which includes summer practices/camps, indoor winter sessions, and 2-3 tournaments. We practice twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. OPEN TRY-OUTS (UPDATED)
The Open Try-out dates for the 2009-2010 U-15 WAGS seasons will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, on June 1st, 3rd, 8th & 15th from 5:30-7:30 PM. - 6/1, 6/8, 6/15 (new)*, 5:30-7:30 PM: Mondays will be at Big Pines Park on Travilah Rd. - 6/3, 5:30-7:30 PM: Wednesdays will be at Strawberry Knolls Local Park in Gaithersburg. *PLEASE NOTE: Wed.'s 6/10 tryout date was changed to Monday 6/15 due to a rescheduled WAGS game at 8 PM on 6/10.
