MMA Athletics As a member of the NCAA Division III Massachusetts Maritime sponsors ten intercollegiate varsity sports. Varsity football, soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, and rifle are offered during the fall semester. In the spring the Buccaneers compete in baseball, men's lacrosse and softball. The men's and women's crew program as well as the intercollegiate co-ed varsity sailing season are conducted in both the fall and spring. We are members of the New England Football Conference, the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball), the Pilgrim Lacrosse League, United States Rowing Association, New England Intercollegiate Yacht Racing Association, and the Mid Atlantic Rifle Conference. Our coaching staff represents a mix of seasoned veterans and energetic young men and women who are dedicated to bringing out the best in our student-athletes. Intramural Sports include Basketball, Street Hockey, Road Running, Swimming, Indoor Soccer, Softball, Bicycle Racing, Volleyball, Water Polo, and Triathalon. Club sports include Rugby, Hockey, Scuba, Women's Indoor Soccer, and Sailing.
