Watertown American Legion Post 189 Baseball Website: Welcome

All players should be at Washington Park on Friday, July 8th at 9am for the 1st game of the Tri-State Tournament.

Watertown's games from Tuesday and Wednesday cancelled.

Watertown Post 189's league game at Hartford was cancelled on Tuesday due to the severe weather that rolled through southern Wisconsin. The game will be part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 15th at Washington Park in Watertown. Wednesday's game against Mayville was also called due to the heavy amounts of rain over the week. This game has not yet been rescheduled.

2011 Schedule has been posted...

 The Watertown Legion Post 189 baseball team have posted their schedule for the summer of 2011. There may be a few changes, but the schedule is packed with over 30 games between June 8th and when the Regionals start on July 20th. Post 189 will return to Marinette and co-host the Tri-State Tournament with Oconomowoc July 8th-10th.

In addition, the Watertown Post 189 team will be joining a league this year comprised teams from Beaver Dam, Oconomowoc, Hartford and Waupun. The other six teams in the league are Ripon, North Fond du Lac, Jackson, Lomira-Theresa, Mayville, and Horicon.

The site for regionals will be determined during the first week of July, but the sites for the State Tournament, National Regional and World Series have all been announced. The 2011 Wisconsin Legion State Tournament will be held in Beloit, WI starting on July 27th to July 31st. Two teams from Wisconsin will advance to the National Regional, which will be held in Midland, MI from August 4th to the 9th. The winner of the National Regional will advance directly to the Legion World Series in Shelby, NC from August 12th to the 16th.

This year the Watertown Post 189 Shockers will be travelling to tournaments in Marinette. Here is the hotel information for each tournament.

In Marinette we have stayed at the Comfort Inn (715.732.2321).
