Each manager shall submit to the Player Agent a list of 11 players that he/she feels should be considered for the All-Star team. This list cannot be submitted to the Player Agent any earlier than 7 days prior to the All-Star selection meeting. 2. On All-Star selection night, the Player Agent shall list on one sheet all unique names submitted from the managers. 3. The managers shall rank each player from 1 to n, where 1 is the best player, 2 being the 2nd best player, and so on. 4. The Player Agent shall throw out the highest and lowest ranking, and then add up the point total for each player. 5. The 13players with the lowest point total shall make the All-Star team. 6. In the event of a tie for the 13h spot, the tie breakers are listed in order: - determine the player with the most scores between 1 and 13 - the managers vote to resolve the tie. If the vote by the managers results in a tie, then the President decides. 7. In the event that a player needs to be replaced, the next player in the vote total shall be placed on the team. 8. After the All-Star team has been selected, the President shall decide who the All-Star manager shall be along with the two assistant coaches. 4.2 Boys 11 Year Old All-Star Team :: 1. Therefore, it is possible these rules may need modification once District rules are published. 1. Each manager shall submit to the Player Agent a list of players that he/she feels should be considered for the All-Star team. The list should consist of 12 names. Only 9 and 10 year olds can be nominated. 11 and 12 year olds are not eligible for the AAA All-Star team per District 2 rules. 2. 10 year olds that made the AAA All-Star team as a 9 year old shall not be permitted on the AAA All-Star team unless they were eligible for the Major League draft, but were simply not drafted. Eligible means that the player participated in tryouts or was excused from tryouts by the President. 3. On All-Star selection night, the Player Agent shall list on one sheet all unique names submitted from the managers. 4. Each manager shall rank each player from 1 to n, where 1 is the best player, 2 being the 2nd best player, and so on. 5. The Player Agent shall throw out the highest and lowest ranking, and then add up the point total for each player. 6. The 14 players with the lowest point total shall make the All-Star team. No more than 5 ten year olds shall make the AAA All-Star team per District 2 rules. 7. In the event of a tie the managers vote to resolve the tie. If the vote by the managers results in a tie, then the President decides. 8. In the event that a player needs to be replaced, the next player in the vote total shall be placed on the team. 9. After the All-Star team has been selected, the President shall decide who the All-Star manager shall be along with the two assistant coaches. 4.3 Boys 10 Year Old All-Star Team :: 1. The Player Agent shall submit on one sheet all the 10 year olds that played in the majors. 2. The major league managers shall rank the players as described for the 12 year old All-Star team. 3. The 13players with the lowest point total shall make the All-Star team. 4. In the event of a tie for the 13h spot, the managers vote to resolve the tie. If the vote by the managers results in a tie, then the President decides. 5. In the event that it becomes necessary to call up a minor league 10 year old, the major league team must choose a 10 year old that was not selected to play on the AAA All-Star team. 6. After the All-Star team is selected, the President shall decide who the All-Star manager shall be along with the two assistant coaches. 4.4 Major and Sr. Softball All-Star Team :: 1. Each manager shall submit to the Player Agent a list of 14 players that he/she feels should be considered for the All-Star team. This list cannot be submitted to the Player Agent any earlier than 7 days prior to the All-Star selection meeting. 2. Each manager shall rank each player from 1 to n, where 1 is the best player, 2 being the 2nd best player, and so on. 3. The Player Agent or VP of Softball shall take the average of each players score. Numbers to the right of the decimal point shall be truncated. 4. The 13players with the lowest point total shall make the All-Star team. 5. In the event of a tie for the 13h spot, the managers vote to resolve the tie. If the vote by the managers results in a tie, then the President decides. 6. In the event that a player needs to be replaced, the next player in the vote total shall be placed on the team. 7. After the All-Star team has been selected, the President shall decide who the All-Star manager shall be along with the assistant coaches. |
