8 January 2009 - Online Registration Availability
28 Feb 2009 - Walk-In Registration - Aquidneck Island Christian Academy (9am - 12pm)
15 March   2009 - REGISTRATION CLOSED. Please register online before this date!

21 March   2009 - Baseball & Softball Tryouts

    - Anyone new to the league (moved into Portsmouth or did not play with PLL last year) that wants to play competitive baseball or softball has to attend the tryout.
    - Baseball age is based on April 30, 2009 cutoff date.
      Girls softball age is based on Dec. 31, 2008 cutoff date.
    - NOTE: All boys returning to the MAJORS and girls returning to the MAJORS or SENIORS do not need to try out.
    - Tryouts are located at our Sherman and Rooney fields behind Aquidneck Island Christian Academy (321 East Main Rd.).  Kids should dress warm and we recommend that they play catch with a parent before coming to the fields.

12 year olds 9:00 – 10:00              10 – 12 years old 9:00 – 10:30
11 year olds 10:00 – 11:00             13 – 15 years old 11:00 – 12:00
10 year olds 11:00 - 12:30
9 year olds 12:30 – 2:00

25 March 2009 - Major Baseball Practices OPTIONALLY Begin
26 March 2009 - AAA Baseball Practices OPTIONALLY Begin
27 March 2009 - Major/Senior Softball Practices OPTIONALLY Begin
18 April   2009 - Major Baseball & Softball League Play Begins
25 April   2009 - Opening Day 2009 @ Glen Park - 10:00AM
2 May    2009 - Instructional League(Tee Ball, A7, AA, Girls Softball 7-9) Practice/Play Begins
    - NOTE: Instructional league players will be contacted by phone for Opening Day (Saturday April 26) to
         receive uniforms and meet your manager. No play will begin until that time.
14 June    2009 - CHALLENGER Jamboree at Glen Park
6 June    2009 - Baseball & Softball League Play Ends (8 Week Season)
27 June    2009 - Portsmouth Little League End of Year Picnic / Fall Ball Registration Start

25 July    2009 - FINAL Fall Ball Registration - 9:00 AM?-11:00 AM
