(TEEBB) T-Ball Baseball
Baseball League Age 5 and 6
T-ball starts approximately one week before opening day, and ends at the end of June. There is one practice per week, and a game on Saturday morning. Practice is for one hour, and the Saturday morning game is one hour. Your manager will let you know your practice and game schedule. Our field is located in Island Park on Highland Avenue. Players need to bring a glove. League will supply t-shirt and hat. Cleats are optional. Team requests are permitted at this level.


(A7BB) A7 Coach Pitch Baseball
Baseball League Age 7
Coach pitch is for 7 year old boys and girls. Coach pitch league play starts approximately one week before opening day. Games go to end of June. Our field is located at the Gardner Seveney Sports Complex. Your coach will tell you your practice and game schedule.


(AABB) AA Machine Pitch Baseball
Baseball League Age 8 & 9
Machine pitch is for 8 and 9 year old boys and girls. Machine pitch practices start approximately one week before opening day. Games go to end of June. Our field is located at the Gardner Seveney Sports Complex. Your coach will tell you your practice and game schedule.


(AAABB) AAA Minor Baseball
Baseball League Age 9 - 11
AAA is the first level where kids pitch the ball. Tryouts for this division are held in LATE March. Boys and girls 9 - 11 are eligible to play in this division. Most girls, however, choose to play girls softball at age 9. Practices start by MID April, and the season is over at the end of June. Callahan field is located behind the Portsmouth Senior Center. Some practices and games are held at the Portsmouth High School or Main Field Complex at 321 East Main Road. 9 and 10 year old boys are eligible for the Boys Minors All-Star team. This team is comprised of nine 9 year olds, and 5 10 year olds. All-Star practices and games are played throughout July. Dedication and committment is a requirement to be on an All-Star team.


(MAJORBB) Major Baseball
Baseball League Age 10 - 12
Boys Majors is for 10 to 12 year olds. 12 year olds always play in this division per Little League International rules. Tryouts for this division are held in LATE March. Practices start in EARLY April, and the season is over at the end of June when All Star tournaments begin. Games and practices are held the Main Field Complex at 321 East Main Road. 10 year old boys are eligible for the 10 year old All-Star team. 11 year olds are eligible for the 11 year old All-Star team. 12 year olds are eligible for the 12 year old All-Star teams. It is possible that an 11 year old will be selected to play on the 12 year old team. Dedication and committment is a requirement to be on an All-Star team.


(MINORSB) Girls Minor Softball
Softball League Age 7 to 10
This is for girls only. Ages 7 to 10. Teams are divided by managers in two divisions:
7-8 league age girls
9-10 league age girls
Games and practices are held at Turnpike Avenue field (behind Portsmouth Playground) or Lower Glen park.


(MAJORSB) Girls Major Softball
Softball League Age 9 - 12
This is for girls only. Ages 9-12. Tryouts for this division are in late March. Games and practices are at the Lower Glen park. Note: Each team may draft one 9 year old per Portsmouth Little League Rules and Procedures - Section 3.4 - Major Softball Draft.


(SENIORSB) Girls Senior Softball
Softball League Age 13 - 15
This is for girls only. Ages 13-15. Tryouts for this division are in late March. Games and practices are either at the Varsity Softball field at Portsmouth High School, or on the "B" field behind the old Pennfield school on East Main Rd.


Challenger Division
Ages 5 - 18
The Challenger Division of Little League is a program for mentally and physically challenged youth, helping them to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities. More than the skills of baseball learned through the experience, the value of the Little League Challenger Division is found in the proven therapeutic and socialization benefits of participating in sports, the strengthening of participantsÂ’ self-esteem, the opportunities to mainstreaminto other divisions of play, and the disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play, which are hallmarks of the Little League program. The Little League Challenger Division provides the framework so Little League programs may offer a structured, athletic activity for all youth in their communities. Playing with the same equipment on the same fields, Challenger Division participants have the opportunity to experience the joys of pulling together as a team, being cheered, and earningawards for their achievements.
The Challenger Division offers boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 5 to 18 (or the completion of high school), the opportunity to participate in an organized game of baseball.The most fundamental goal of the Challenger Division is to give everyone a chance to play.


Fall Ball Baseball
EAST BAY DEVELOPMENTAL TRAVEL LEAGUE
Major and AAA Divisions::
Season Runs from end of August through mid-October
All Games are on Saturday.
These are umpired divisions.

INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
Machine Pitch Division ::
Season Runs from early September to mid-October
This is an instructional league for those 7-8 year olds that will be advancing to the Machine Pitch division next Spring Season.

Coach Pitch Division ::
Season Runs from early September to mid-October
This is an instructional league for those 6 year olds that will be advancing to the Coach Pitch division next Spring Season.
