WELCOME TO THE PORT JEFF MUDCATS HOME PAGE. WE ARE A MEMBER TEAM IN THE LONG ISLAND STAN MUSIAL BASEBALL LEAGUE. STARTED IN 1997 WE WILL BE ENTERING OUR 10th SEASON in '06 WITH THE FINEST ADULT BASEBALL PROGRAM ON THE EAST COAST. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR FELLOW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS LIKE: THE L I STORM, THE SELDEN BLACK SOX, THE L I CARDINALS, THE N Y KNIGHTS AND OTHER TEAMS IN OUR AABC/NABA PROGRAM. OUR LEAGUE WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1973 WITH 8 TEAMS, WE NOW HAVE ABOUT 45 PLUS TEAMS AS PART OF A GREAT NATIONAL ADULT PROGRAM FOUNDED IN 1935.

A Great New Year 2006
As the Mudcats prepare to enter their 10th Season in the "NEW LONG ISLAND" Stan Musial - let me remind everyone that with a few new players and the blend of college players and veterans we will be very strong in '06. That now puts us in an excellent position to get started earlier in our plans and conditioning. This Year we will attend that Hall of Fame Tournament in Cooperstown. Let's come out early and aim High!
