NEW! Check out our new calendar link to the left - taking you to the end of July with each of PCMBA's divisions games, dates and locations - complete with maps.

REGISTRATION IS NOT OVER!

We will be taking registrations right up until and at the Pitch Hit and Run.  Email us if you still want to register your child.  A variety of payment options are available to you, including post dated cheques, multiple payments and discount for 3+ player households.  Jumpstart and Prokids are available as subsidies too, see our website for more info.

Our registration fees cover the following - uniform, trophy, field play-maintenance, officiating & year end event (player's ticket only).  Our fees are still the lowest cost solution in the Niagara Region.

 Terms and Conditions: PCMBA will attempt to accommodate all interested players. Registration, however, cannot be guaranteed as it is limited and on a "first come", "first-serve" basis. PCMBA reserves the right to move players among teams for the purpose of balancing skill level and ensuring competitive play. PCMBA cannot guarantee special requests and/or player assignment to specific teams. Parents/Guardians are responsible to ensure that the player is in good health and has medical coverage. Returned cheques will result in $25.00 processing charge. Cancellations before May 15th will be subject to a $20.00 administrative fee. Refund requests between May 15 and June 15 will result in a 50% refund (refund requests after May 15 will affect the rest of the team, uniform orders and will only be considered if we can appropriately field the same number of teams with fewer players or with replacement players from the waiting list.   No refunds after June 15, 2013. (This information is also located on the registration form)

  Play Safe Reminder - Port Colborne Minor Baseball is no longer providing batting helmets for use for any of its players.  Any player who plays for PCMBA must provide their own helmet to wear during batting practice and regular season games.

  Friendly Reminder

Smoking Policy

PCMBA isn’t going to police the stands and areas around the diamonds, so an honour system is in place.  We ask that you refrain from smoking on any of the surrounding area of any of our diamonds or stands for obvious reasons.  If you have to smoke, please do so in the parking area and dispose of your butts in any of the garbage receptacles available to you.

Complaint Resolution Process

We understand that from time to time people don`t see eye to eye and on occasion the heat of the moment can carry us away.  We ask that you step back from any such situation, and wait a day or two or at least overnight before approaching the issue.  This is a fun league, not the major league.  We’re run by volunteers, not paid professionals.  We ask that you try to resolve issues on your own with those involved in a respectful manner.  Recommended steps to take include, in this order;

1.      Talk to the person involved;

2.      Talk to the coach or the assistant coach;

3.      Talk to your convener;

4.      Talk to one of the executives;

5.      Talk to the president.

You will be:

·        Referred to these steps and

·        Asked for your account of the issue and

·        The outcome of each step before the next escalation point

Thank you for your co-operation and understanding that our volunteers are only trying to help provide a summer activity for your child.
