 Equipment Return

When: Thursday, May 16, 2013
Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Where: Sierra Vista Police Department

Coaches, if you are not able to make it on this date please coordinate with Kevin-Equipment Manager, directly for an alternative date/time. 
Remember to turn in your scorebooks with your equipment so players can be certified for All-Stars.

Annual General Membership Meeting

The Annual General Membership Meeting will be held on May 17th directly following Closing Ceremonies. This is a meeting of the membership of the league for the purpose of electing the Board of Directors, receiving reports, reviewing the Constitution, and appointing Committees.  The membership shall recieve at this meeting a Report showing: condition of the League, general summary of funds received and expended, the amount of ufnds currently in possession of the league and the name of the financial institution in which such funds are maintained; the whole amount of real and personal property, where located and where and how invested and the names of the persons who have been admitted to Regular Membership in the League.  The Members shall determine the number of Directors to be elected for the ensuing year and shall elect such number of Directors (not less than 7). Dues for regular membership are: 15 hours of volunteer time during the season. This time must be completed before closing ceremonies in order for a regular member to be in good standing. Only Regular Members in good standing are eligible to vote at General Membership meetings.  Note: Regular Members of the league automatically include all current Managers, Coaches, Volunteer Umpires, and Board Members.

Little League All Stars

With the end of the Season comes All Stars.  A time where we can compete against other leagues in our District, State and even Nationwide! 

If your daughter is interested in playing in All Stars, here is a bit of information:

1.  All Star season is from right after Closing Ceremonies until the end of July (depending on if the team is winning and continuing in the Tournament)  If you arent able to commit to the time due to vacations etc, please dont try out.   If your daughter is picked for a team but cant show up for practices or games, it is not fair for the girl that wasnt picked but coluld have made the commitment.

2. Age Requirements:  Your daughter must have been League Age as of January 1st, 2013

Minors: 9-10 years old

Majors: 11-12 years old

Juniors: 13,14 years old

3. Play Requirements:  Your daughter must have played at least 60% of her teams' scheduled games.

Note: If your 12 year old daughter played in Juniors during League, she has to try out for the Major Team.  Same as if your 10 year old daughter played in Majors during League, she has to try out for the Minor Team.  In All Stars, its all about how old you are.

Open Practice & Tryout dates,times, places will be posted shortly.  Any girl that can make the commitment and requirement can participate in open practice and tryouts.
