 I am looking for the  leagues to host a Tune up and Platinum Tournaments. The number of fields will depend on how many teams and division we have. For Tune up I will make contact with leagues for teams and for a Platinum tournament we work together in pulling in the teams for a Platinum tournament.

For all tournaments we cannot control the weather, number of games a night or games that run those extra innings so we do need lights on the fields. We will also need hotels for the PONY Directors that will be traveling a distance. If any league would like to host one of these tournaments please e-mail Cindy Strickland at c.strickland@pony.org or  210-825-1419.

Alumni Scholarships

Troy Stein from Medina Valley was the Scholarship Winner for the Central Texas Area.

 Any PONY Baseball or Softball player who has played on a PONY affiliated Pony, Colt and/or Palomino team for at least two years prior to application and is a senior in high school may be eligible for a $1,500.00 Alumni Scholarship.  The deadline for application is May 1, 2012
The application is available to view online and print online at www.pony.org.  On the front page click on Alumni and Scholarships.  Then open the PONY Alumni Scholarship Form.  Print out and follow the directions for submission along with all the appropriate documents.
