The Poca Youth Basketball League (PYBL) is dedicated to the idea that kids can have fun and learn at the same time. For over a decade, we have helped teach kids and parents alike basketball skills, sportsmanship, and that working together is what makes a winning team - no matter what the final score may be!

2010 Summer Basketball
We are now taking applicants for the 2010 PYBL Summer Basketball Program. Please see the "Handouts" section for the registration form.
Please note the form, with payment, is due no later than June 1st. If not received by due date, your child's name will be removed from the list. Monday, November 24
Sportsmanship
Our League places the utmost importance on Sportsmanship. We have a no tolerance policy when it comes to unsportsmanlike conduct by any player, coach, or fan. We will not argue any calls made by the referees. We want to teach the kids basketball but most of all we want to teach them to show respect to others and to be Good Sports win or lose. Violators will be removed from the gym. This is for the good of our children and I think that we can all agree that this is why we are here. Let's have a great season and display great Sportsmanship along the way! |
