2009 Winter Baseball Camp

Where: New Hope Community Gym

When: Sunday evenings starting January 4^th for seven (7) weeks of instructions. (Excluding Super Bowl Sunday)

·        Rookies from 5:00-5:50

·        Minors from 6:00-7:20

·        Majors from 7:30-8:50

·        Hitting-focus on grip, stance and swing at all levels, minors and majors camp attendees will be instructed on rotational hitting which all coaches will be teaching at the major level for 2009

·        Fielding-focus on footwork, body position and proper technique for catching balls

·        Throwing/Pitching-focus on proper throwing mechanics including hand on top of ball, elbow up and good follow through.  Minor and major camp attendees will work on pitching mechanics and motions.

·        Players are split into small groups to get extra repetitions and attention

·        The registration form can be found under Handouts.  The first 40 registrations will be accepted at each level.  The remaining will go on a waiting list.  Sign up today!  Send completed forms to Pam Segal.  See mailing details on the registration form which can be found under the handout tab.

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS HELPED THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKENDS.  AS THE PHOTOS SHOW A LOT OF PROGESS HAS BEEN MADE.  THE TRUSSES WERE COMPLETED ALONG WITH THE SHEETING ON THE ROOF AND THE SIDING COMPLETED ON THE GABLE ENDS.
