The fund raising committee for the Pownal Sports Center is once again having the “200 Draw” fund-raising event.  There will only be 200 tickets sold for this draw at a price of $100 each. There will be $10,000 in cash prizes won over the 4 month fund raising event. The profit for the rink will be $10,000 with all the tickets sold.  

The draw will run from December 2009 to March 2010. The draws will take place at the rink on the third week of each month with the first draw in December.Each month  there will be 5 prizes : $1,000, $500, $300, $250, and $200.  In December there will be a $1,000 bonus draw. Winners for each month will go back into the drum to be eligible for the remaining months draws, giving each ticket multiple chances to win. 

This is an excellent way for people to support our wonderful facility and have a chance to win some cash. The rink needs our ongoing financial support to help subsidize the operation and help keep the cost of ice rentals and registrations in check. Tickets can be purchased by individuals or by groups of people to share in the chance of winning, so get your friends, families, and co-workers together.

 The Pownal Sports Center board of directors and I are asking all facility users to support this draw by selling and/or purchasing tickets.  Tickets will be distributed to the hockey teams by the managers: the skating club fund-raising committee; rec.league co-ordinator.  Tickets are also available from the Pownal Sports Center Board of Directors.   Last year’s draw was a great success, lets make it another successful year! Pownal Sports Center Board  thanks you for your support.
