2012 Minor Division Player Evaluations

In an effort to have better balanced teams at the Minors Division, we will be holding Mandatory evaluations for ALL Minors players.  In addition, any 8 year old 2nd grader who has requested to be moved up to Minors or any 10 year old 4th grade player who has requested to be moved up to Majors must attend the evaluations.     If the 8 year old 2nd graders or 10 year old 4th graders do not attend the evaluation their request to be moved up may not be considered.

Slotted times are based on alphabetical last name as follows:

5:00 - 6:00    A-H

6:00 - 7:00    I - N

7:00 - 8:00    M-Z

Please arrive 15 minutes early for pre-registration.  The players will be evaluated on the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, pitching, and fielding. The evaluators will be coaches from the upper divisions so there is no partiality of the coaches knowing the players.  Each player will be assigned a number and the evaluators will NOT know the kids names.  The evaluations will be used to help set up a fair draft board for team selections.  Evaluations will be held at our Winter training facility at 20 Appletree Lane.   Directions are below.

Please note that NO CLEATS OR SPIKES are permitted.  Wear sneakers.   Bring your own gloves, helmets, bats. Also bring Water.

We realize that many of the kids have not played any baseball since last season. So try to have your kids warm up in the back yard over the next week.

Thanks Chuck Haschets

Commissioner Plumstead Baseball Cal Ripken
