PLOA AssignByWeb (ABW) Status: Online & Operational
The Potomac Lacrosse Officials Association (PLOA), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, promotes lacrosse in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area by providing boy's and men's lacrosse officiating services.
PLOA currently offers the following unique benefits and programs to the local lacrosse community:
1. Inclusive organizational structure;
2. Constitution and by-laws that provide rights and benefits to its members;
3. Training and US Lacrosse MDOC Level 1 and 2 certification of youth and adult officials;
4. Mentor program pairing experienced collegiate officials with new high school and youth officials;
5. Cross-representation on the local Potomac Chapter of US Lacrosse;
6. Direct relationships with US Lacrosse, MPSSAA and VHSL;
7. Contract provider to MYLA, NVYLL, SMYLA, Potomac Lacrosse and TripleEDGE Lacrosse;
8. Contract provider to a majority of IAC, DC, MD & VA high schools;
9. Online assigning, registration, dues payment and direct deposit web site capabilities;
10. 2009 dues are $25.00 for adult officials. Active military and high school-aged officials are exempt from dues; and
11. Current membership consists of over 500 US Lacrosse-certified officials.
PLOA is the largest officials association in the DC region!

Boys & Mens Lacrosse Officials Sought for 2009 (click here)
The Potomac Lacrosse Officials Association (PLOA) is seeking boys and mens officials for youth and high school games in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
- Availability: Immediate
- Deadline: Open
- Salary: Game fees vary
- Position Description: PLOA provides US Lacrosse MDOC Level 1 (Youth) and 2 (High School) certification programs that allow successful applicants to officate high schools and youth league games.
Training classes for new adult and high school-aged officials begin January 2009! Classes will be held in the following locations: Bethesda, MD; Prince Frederick, MD; McLean, VA; and Woodbridge, VA.
