Try-outs are complete, what happens next?
Point Loma Little League fields are being set up for the 2012 season.
Major American and Minor League drafts are complete. Preseason practices have been scheduled. Managers are in the process of notifying their players about these details. At the bottom of this page you can find links that lead to maps showing practice field locations.
For T-Ball and Bam Bam, once teams are finalized, Managers will make contact with parents of players to let them know what team they are on.
This year Point Loma Little League will be offering free pitching clinics and instruction for Major League and American League players. The first pitching clinic will be held on Saturday, February 11th from 2:30 to 4:00 pm at PLLL fields.
This year JP Longball will be back to offer a hitting clinic for Major, American, and National League players. The clinic will be on Sunday, February 12th on the PLLL Minor Lague Field and is free to all PLLL registered players. Please take advantage of this opportunity:
10:00 - 11:15 National League
11:30 - 12:45 American League
1:00 - 2:30 Major League
Players should bring a batting helmet, a bat, and optional batting gloves. There will be a few extra helmets and bats available for use on site for those who need them or would like the opinions of the Jp Longball experts on which bat size and type is best suited for that player. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so that player can get signed in prior to the start of the session.
Opening Day is March 3rd, 9:00 am - Mark your calendars. All Major League and American League teams will play on Opening Day. National League, T-Ball and Bam Bam games will begin on March 10th.

About Point Loma Little League (PLLL):
Point Loma Little League is part of Little League International District 32, and offers an array of baseball programs for kids age 4-12. Games are played at Optimist Field, 1049 Catalina Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107 unless noted otherwise on the schedule.
Divisions of play:
- Bam Bam (Tee) Ages 4-5
- T-Ball (Tee and Coach Pitch) Ages 6-7
- National League (Pitching Machine) Ages 7-9
- American League (Player Pitch) Ages 9-11
- Major League (Player Pitch) Ages 10-12
League Boundaries:
