Frequently Asked Questions
PLEASE NOTE: All information on this page pertains to the League's season which officially begins on March 1, 2006.
How much does it cost? There is an (offline only) sibling discount of $10 for the first and $5 for the remaining. There will be no refunds after February 8th which is the first tryout date.
$55 - TBall (5-6 yrs) $65 - Minor Machine-Pitch (7-8 yrs) $75 - Minor Division (9-12 yrs) ** $75 - Major Division (9-12 yrs) ** $75 - Jr Divison (13-14 yrs) ** $75 - Sr Division (15-16 yrs) **
**These divisions must attend 50% of the tryouts (i.e. 1 of 2 tryouts) to be eligible for the draft and All Star nomination. EXCEPT FOR RETURNING MAJOR DIVISION PLAYERS who will play on the same team as last season. (Scroll down, below "try-out dates" for more info.)
What does Pahrump Little League provide? The League will provide all players with a hat, shirt, belt, pants & socks.
What must the player provide? Players must provide non-metal cleats for Minor & Major divisions; Jr. & Sr. division players may use metal cleats. Players must also have their own age-appropriate glove.
How and where can I sign up? You can sign up on-line by clicking on "register now" at the left or you can sign up offline at Honeysuckle Park Little League office located on Honeysuckle between P.V. Blvd & Dandelion.
What dates can I sign up offline? Wednesdays: January 4, 11, 18, & 25th 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays: January 7, 14, 21, & 28th 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Who's coaching my son's and/or daughter's team? You will receive a phone call by March 5th. If you do not receive a call by March 5th, please call Little League Office and leave a message or you can send us an email.
When do the try-outs take place? Minors/Majors Feb. 8 - Wed. night from 6-8 on field #2 Feb. 11 - Sat. morning from 9-noon on field #2
Jr. & Sr. Feb. 8 - Wed. night from 6-8 on field #1 Feb. 11 - Sat. afternoon from 1-3 on field #1
Returning Major Division Players: You are considered Returning Players and will be placed on the same team as last season. You do not need to attend a tryout date. You are automatically eligible for the draft and All Star nomination.
How is "League Age" determined? League Age is determined by the player's age prior to **May 1, 2006, or you can look up the players age on a League Age Chart. **This is for the PLL season beginning March 1, 2006 only.
From where may I obtain a League Age Chart? For your convenience, at the left, click on "Links" then on"League Age Chart" if you would like to view and/or print out the chart which deterimine's the player's league age.
