Ashlie Pipkin Memorial Tournament partners with CSA in 2012

Carolina Softball Association has again partnered with the Ashlie Pipkin Memorial Tournament and will sponsor and assist with organizing this year's event on September 15-16, 2012 at Sumter's Patriot, Palmetto and Dillon Parks.  This will be the 4th year for this annual charity event.

Last year's event brought a record 51 teams to Sumter as players, coaches, umpires, volunteers and fans helped to remember Ashlie's amazing life.  All tournament proceeds, including entry and gate fees and souvenir sales, will benefit "Camp Ashlie" and other non-profit charities.  This year's events will also include a showcase event for the 16U and 18U age divisions.  College coaches will be in attendance.

"We are extremely excited about continuning our relationship with the Ashlie Pipkin Memorial Tournament and to work with the generous volunteers that work so hard to remember Ashlie while promoting an event that benefits our youth," states CSA South Carolina State Director Rob Weiland.  "As part of our committment to this event, CSA will not schedule any tournaments in the Carolinas during this weekend in hope that teams will support this event as well.  We strongly encourage teams to sign up for this event earlier so that we can make plans to accomodate everyone!"

Why play with Carolina Softball Association?
CSA offers all teams the opportunity to play as many games possible,
with high school and collegiate certified officials, at a reasonable rate!

We all want to play in tournaments with a lot of teams participating. We
will also post confirmed teams playing on our website, without adding fake
teams or teams that never said that they wanted to play. It's your choice
who you want to play and when you want to play. No need to call for an
updated list as they are conveniently online - saving you time and money!

No one can control the weather and we all hate when events cancel,
especially after they have begun and normally right before the finals.
Our promise to you is that we refund all entry fees if the event is cancelled
before your first game! We do not keep any of YOUR money for admin
fees. If an event gets cancelled after games are played, we will refund
money based on the number of games that your team played and what
was guaranteed.

We offer discounts for teams that play multiple tournaments with us or
sometimes specials to promote a special event or location. These
discounts are available to all teams. We will not offer a team a "deeper"
discount so that they will play with us versus another organization. Our
program succeeds when all teams are happy and tournaments are fair.
Offering "deals" to specific teams is unfair to everyone else playing.

We try to to make your experience an enjoyable one. Should you ever
have a question or a problem, please contact a CSA Director. We are
your service managers! Have a great season!
